Men are from Mars!!! Women are from Venus!!!!

It feels so good to be back after a nice long vacation, despite heat outside(I am from India, but trust me even for Indians the heat in California is just too much to handle) We've been buzzing around into our daily routines adjusting and trying to come out of the past weekend. It's a relief just to sit here in my royal arm chair with the AC on full-blast and to reflect on all that's happened lately(in the few months that swooshed by).

Strange it is really, living your life as an individual for 25 years. Never had the need to act responsible, never thought of how would the life be once we are bound with an other person. And marriage complete changes who you are and what you are. After getting married u leave everyone and every thing and every place u know and move to an alien world where you know no one around u to live all your life with a person who has been a stranger to you( not that i am complaining about Krishna he is a sweet heart) . Cant believe that am married now :)

Things are different after marriage, realized the true facts that once made me laugh from the book by John Gray " Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus. The enduring message that men and women are from different planets seems to be correct now.

Its all not that sweet as in the fairy tale stories I had been reading all my life. Marriage is not just a ceremony, which includes sweets, relatives, fun, grandeur, friends, blah blah blah.....
Its about the unison of two families, of two souls, of two people and the hardest of all two mentalities.

It is true that men and women count the the giving and receiving of love differently. And this is where the communication plays a very important role for the relationship. I wish communication would be a lot more easier between two humans....

I was all engrossed in these thoughts when I suddenly came back to life with the gong of the bell... sigh I got up yet another day trying to make complex issues look simple..

I smiled and opened the door for the love of my life... and laughed at the irony that with all these differences we still love each other.....
